Sooyoung Jeong, a graduate student from David Emerich's Lab, will be receiving a Masters Degree in Biochemistry after successfully defending her thesis, "A Custom Oligonucleotide Microarray Analysis as a tool for dissecting Soybean-Bradyrhizobium japonicum nodule senescence", on July 20, 2007.
Steve Witzig, a graduate student in Joseph Polacco's lab, will be receiving a Masters Degree in Biochemistry as well after successfully defending his thesis, "Signals Affecting Urease Status of Plant-Associated Bacteria, Methylobacterium spp.", on July 25, 2007.
